Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Senior/Project Structural Engineer for our Bristol team. The role involves delivering structural design solutions from concept through to completion on a varied portfolio including residential, retail and commercial sectors.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Structural Engineering, solid UK consultancy experience, and be either chartered or working towards Chartership, with proficiency in Eurocodes, structural analysis and software such as Tekla and Fastrak.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering required and UK consultancy experience preferred.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership encouraged; responsibilities scale with experience.
• Solid understanding of Eurocodes, structural analysis and design software essential; experience with traditional building structures in various materials.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design using Tekla and Fastrak.
• Undertake assessments and inspections of new and existing structures.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and structural surveys.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
