Sweco in London is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Structures team near Liverpool Street. You will drive project delivery, coordinate design, and perform detailed calculations for complex constructions, mentoring juniors and coordinating with clients and regulators.

The role emphasizes Chartered Engineer status or near qualification, a strong portfolio with ETABS/SAFE/Tekla/Robot/Revit/IDEA Statica, and a flexible, hybrid working environment in central London.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
• Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving chartership.
• Skilled in ETABS, SAFE, Tekla, Robot, Revit and IDEA Statica.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: manage project portals, prepare reports and drawings for planning and construction; lead construction details and tender submissions.
• Design: lead design development and coordination, contribute to technical excellence.
• Calculations: perform detailed structural calculations using software or hand methods per relevant codes.
• Coordination & Collaboration: communicate with project team, clients, contractors and regulators; participate in client meetings.
• Team contribution: mentor less experienced staff and lead by example.
