Job summary

RSK LDE (Land and Development Engineering) in Exeter seeks a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural projects for land and development schemes, working on-site. You will perform analysis, design, and reporting, coordinating with civil engineers and hydrologists while mentoring juniors and contributing to bids.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, chartered or near-chartered status, and strong UK code familiarity (Eurocodes, Building Regulations).

Qualifications

• Strong structural engineering skills on building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with structural analysis and detailed design outputs.
• Proficiency in CAD for structural and civil works.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; chartered or near-chartered.
• Experience with UK design standards including Eurocodes and Building Regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering projects on land and development schemes.
• Prepare and review structural analysis, design calculations and reports.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and hydrologists to integrate solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and manage budgets and timelines.
