Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a hybrid role in Leicester. The position offers £40-£50 per hour on a 37.5-hour week, with minimum three days in the Leicester office and ongoing contract work.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in building structures, strong design experience, and proficiency with TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, and AutoCAD. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential for project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building structures.
• Experience delivering designs across residential, commercial and mixed-use.
• Proven ability to work independently within a team.
• Experience with TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, AutoCAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural designs from concept to detailed design stages.
• Perform calculations and design work for foundations, steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Prepare reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Review drawings and designs for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other disciplines.
