The role involves delivering structural design projects from concept to detailed design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, with a requirement for regular office presence in Leicester (hybrid, at least 3 days per week).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a building structures environment.
• Experience delivering structural design projects across multiple sectors.
• Proficient with structural design software and BIM-based project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering designs from concept through detailed design.
• Undertake calculations for foundations, steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients and other disciplines.
• Manage workload and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Provide technical input to junior engineers.
