Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Bristol with hybrid working. The role covers leading structural projects from concept to completion across healthcare, education, residential, high-rise and more.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate multi-disciplinary design and ensure high technical and commercial standards in a client-facing capacity. The ideal candidate has strong UK experience, a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Strong UK structural consultancy experience.
• Proven experience delivering building structures projects.
• Ability to develop structural schemes from initial architectural briefs.
• Strong structural analysis and design capability; proficient with AutoCAD.
• Chartered Engineer status advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across a varied portfolio of building sectors.
• Develop sustainable, efficient and safe structural engineering solutions.
• Manage projects from concept through detailed design and delivery.
• Coordinate engineers and technicians and review calculations and drawings.
• Ensure information is delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with architects, clients and contractors and attend meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain high-quality documentation.
