Job summary

Prp Uk Limited in Leicester is seeking an experienced civil and structural engineer to lead a range of projects across commercial, residential, industrial, health care and education sectors up to £50 million. You will hold a BEng/MEng, be chartered or on track with IStructE or ICE, and oversee a team of engineers and technicians while building relationships with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Hold a BEng/MEng qualification and have a minimum of 9 years’ post graduate experience.
• Chartered or working towards chartership status through IStructE or ICE.
• Experience in design and structural analysis across steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians.
• Represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Write accurate reports and project documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
• Hold a full driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage the civil and structural engineering design on a variety of projects.
• Lead and allocate resources to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
• Represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
