Mid Surrey - Senior Structural Engineer (6-month Contract)

A well-established firm of consulting engineers in mid Surrey is currently seeking a capable Senior Structural Engineer for a minimum 6-month contract. The role involves working on a variety of residential, commercial, and retail building structures with a construction value of up to £5m.

Due to an increased order book, our client is looking to recruit a contract senior structural design engineer with the following criteria:

1. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of buildings design experience
2. Ability to design to a high standard in steel, timber, concrete, and masonry
3. Experience in managing projects from start to finish (project size of £1m+)
4. IT literate and confident in adopting new design software packages

Flexible work-from-home arrangements are available after an initial settling period.

The location offers excellent transport links to the M25 and proximity to a mainline station.

This is an immediate start for the right candidate. The role is outside IR35, allowing the use of a Ltd company.
