Carrington West is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead challenging structural projects in London. You will manage design delivery from concept through construction and coordinate with clients, architects and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and industry standards.

My client is seeking a motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality structural engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and resources while working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
• Deliver structural designs, calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Manage project scope, programmes, costs and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, regulators and design teams.
• Review designs and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings.
• Support and mentor graduate and junior engineers.
• Assist with client development and fee proposals.
