Job summary

Conrad-Consulting in London is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established and forward-thinking consultancy. Salary: GBP55000 - GBP60000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established and forward-thinking consultancy in London. With a strong portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors, the business is looking to strengthen its structural engineering team with an experienced professional who can bring proven technical expertise and a solid track record of project delivery.

The client is specifically seeking a near Chartered Engineer with a strong technical background, good consultancy experience and a solid technical base. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, while working closely with clients, architects and wider project teams.

A thorough understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes is essential, together with the ability to develop practical, technically sound structural solutions. Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients and other professionals are also important.

Experience of seismic design would be particularly attractive, although this is not essential. The role would suit an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer who is keen to continue developing technically while working towards or completing Chartered status.
