Strata Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer for a fully remote, part-time contract role in the UK. You will deliver structural designs and calculations across diverse projects, working independently with support from the wider engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK building regulation knowledge, design codes and experience with structural analysis software, enabling remote project delivery within 20 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver structural engineering designs, calculations and technical solutions, working independently while collaborating with the wider engineering team.

Fully Remote | Outside IR35 | £40–£50 per Hour | 20 Hours per Week

We are recruiting for an established structural engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to support its ongoing project workload on a part-time contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer looking for a flexible, fully remote contract position working 20 hours per week, delivering structural design solutions across a range of building projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering structural engineering designs, calculations and technical solutions, working independently while collaborating with the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake structural analysis and design across a variety of building projects.
• Produce detailed structural calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Design structural elements using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry, as required.
• Review drawings and coordinate with technicians and other design disciplines.
• Develop practical, cost-effective structural engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes and British Standards.
