Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive RC design experience for a 6-12 month contract on a fully remote basis. The role involves leading technical design activities, producing and reviewing calculations and drawings, and mentoring junior engineers.

Chartered status is preferred (MIStructE/MICE). Strong knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes, plus excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are essential to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with proven expertise in the design, analysis, and verification of RC structures. Chartered status is preferred, reflecting a high level of professional competence and commitment to engineering standards. This role involves leading technical design activities, providing engineering solutions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with relevant codes and project requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to mentoring junior engineers and managing design risks.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in reinforced concrete (RC) structural design
