Strata Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer for a fully remote, part-time contract (20 hours per week) across UK projects. You will deliver structural designs, calculations and technical reports, working autonomously with the wider engineering team.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes and relevant standards, with experience across residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Formación

• Senior-level experience as a structural design engineer within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Strong structural design and analytical skills.
• Experience on building structures across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of UK structural design codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and deliver projects remotely.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience using structural analysis and design software.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver structural engineering designs, calculations and technical solutions.
• Work independently while collaborating with the wider engineering team.
• Undertake structural analysis and design across various building projects.
• Produce detailed calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Design structural elements using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Review drawings and coordinate with technicians and other design disciplines.
• Develop practical, cost-effective structural engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Provide technical input and resolve design challenges throughout delivery.
