Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our Building Structures team.

You will lead high-profile projects across airports, data centers, rail, and energy sectors, applying advanced 3D design and digital tools to deliver robust, safe, and sustainable structures. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with clients and architects, and help manage budgets and timelines across local and international projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Chartered Engineer with relevant professional membership preferred.
Strong experience in building structure design and specification to standards/regulations.
Proficient in structural analysis/design software (Robot, ETABS, SAFE).
Ability to conduct structural inspections and report defects.
Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver structural design for broad range of projects.
Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design quality.
Ensure structures meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
Leverage digital tools and 3D design to drive innovative solutions.
