Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited is seeking a Senior Stress Engineer to join the Engineering team in Cambridgeshire. You will lead stress analysis and structural evaluations of high‑performance composite structures for aerospace and marine applications.

You will develop FE models, review results, and mentor engineers while ensuring designs meet customer specifications, performance, and manufacturability. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in stress analysis and structural engineering, with composites preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fibre-reinforced composite structures and mechanical analysis techniques.
• Experience with static, dynamic, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed stress analysis and structural assessments of advanced composite components and assemblies.
• Develop and analyse finite element models to evaluate loading conditions and structural behaviour.
• Provide technical leadership and signatory responsibilities where required.
• Produce detailed technical reports and engineering presentations.
