GKN Aerospace invites applications for a Senior Analysis Engineer at our Filton office to independently assess, check, or approve stress analyses for aircraft structures from design to certification. You will conduct hand calculations, FE analyses, and validate technical solutions in line with customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of stress experience on composite and metallic structures.
• Qualification to work on UK Defence projects is essential.
• Able to hold check and approval status per project criteria.
• Proficient with Nastran/Patran and Simcenter for FE analyses.

Responsabilités

• Perform stress analysis using classical methods for composite and metallic structures.
• Develop, implement and check technical solutions and compliance documentation for work packages.
• Capable of holding an approval stress signatory on Filton projects.
• Process concessions and non-conformances and provide effective technical solutions.
