Job summary

BT plc, London, is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to lead a team of strategists and drive high-impact strategic projects from ideation to business case and board approval. You will shape priorities with the Board and craft clear communications for senior audiences.

You will apply data analytics and storytelling to influence decisions, building relationships with MDs, the CEO, and other senior leaders while delivering concise, compelling narratives across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience advising senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organisation.
• Excellent communication and succinct briefing skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives.
• Experience coordinating data analytics to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of strategists and drive their development.
• Oversee strategic projects from idea to business case and board approval.
• Define priorities with the Board and cascade them to teams.
• Develop clear CFU strategy communications for internal/external audiences.
• Provide senior consultancy on strategic issues across the business.
• Design quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess impacts.
• Create clear slide decks and messages for senior stakeholders.
• Build long-lasting relationships with MDs, CEO, CFO and other leaders.
