Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Senior Innovation Strategy Manager to advance BT’s innovation activity, shaping strategy, business cases and investment decisions across product, commercial and technology teams.

You will partner with leaders across BT to translate insights into growth opportunities and scalable programs, driving value from exploration to delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic and commercial experience gained in consulting, corporate strategy, start-up, scale-up or innovation environments.
• Proven experience developing and delivering growth strategies with senior stakeholder influence.
• Experience applying AI, automation or data-driven approaches to improve decision making and outcomes.
• Desirable: quantitative degree or related business/finance qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Shape BT's innovation strategy and long-term growth priorities across BT units.
• Develop product roadmaps and commercial strategies with product directors and finance.
• Evaluate opportunities across frontier tech and market trends; build investment cases.
• Define, track and improve innovation KPIs; manage portfolio performance.
• Lead execution from concept through to implementation across cross-functional squads.
