Avanti West Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Strategy Analyst to lead a small team of Strategy Analysts and help shape the commercial decisions that drive revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction across Avanti West Coast. Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial analytics, strategy, forecasting or revenue analysis.
• Excellent mathematical and statistical modelling skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and a data-led approach to problem solving.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations that influence senior decision makers.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing analytical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Strategy Analysts, developing talent and building a centre of excellence for commercial insight.
• Develop and maintain statistical, mathematical and forecasting models supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Analyse revenue and market trends to identify risks, opportunities and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial and wider business teams to influence decisions and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Lead Commercial forecasting and budgeting analysis, ensuring accurate and robust outputs.
• Challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
• Represent Avanti West Coast as a subject matter expert through industry forecasting and modelling initiatives.
