Orion Electrotech Manufacturing in Marlow seeks a Senior Stores Person to manage dispatch activities, ensuring accurate and timely shipments worldwide. The role supports the warehouse team in planning and prioritisation while maintaining meticulous records.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, strong organisation, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will handle domestic and international shipments and ensure compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure on-time, accurate shipments.
• Process customer orders and maintain shipping details in ERP system.
• Provide delivery updates and shipment tracking to customers.
• Prepare and verify dispatch docs: invoices, waybills, CoC/CoO/ATR.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance, freight providers and couriers for domestic and international shipments.
• Manage packaging, labelling and shipping requirements per customer specs.
• Maintain dispatch records and traceability per policy.
• Support Warehouse Supervisor with workload planning and prioritisation.

Senior Stores Person Location: Marlow Pay Rate: £32,000 - £34,000 5% Bonus Job Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00am4:30pm, 12:30pm finish on Friday) This is a great opportunity for a Senior Stores Person to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment on a permanent basis, supporting the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders worldwide.

• Coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure products are shipped accurately, safely, and on time.
• Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate shipping information within the ERP system.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for post-order customer communications, providing delivery updates and shipment tracking information.
• Preparing and verifying dispatch documentation including dispatch notes, commercial invoices, waybills, Certificates of Conformity (CoC), Certificates of Origin (CoO), ATR certificates, and customer-specific documentation.
• Liaising with Trade Compliance, freight providers, and couriers to ensure successful domestic and international shipments.
• Managing customer-specific packaging, labelling, and shipping requirements.
• Maintaining accurate dispatch records and supporting document traceability requirements.
• Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with workload planning and prioritisation activities.

TheSenior Stores Person should have the following experience:

• Previous experience within a dispatch, logistics, customer service, administration, or manufacturing support role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of production processes, operational metrics, and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience within aerospace, defence, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance.
