Job summary

Orion Electrotech expands its aerospace division with a Senior Stores Person based in Marlow. You will ensure accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders worldwide, maintaining ERP data and handling post-order communications.

The role supports the Warehouse Supervisor, shipping domestically and internationally, and requires experience in a manufacturing setting with quality documentation knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch/logistics within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Location:Marlow

Pay Rate:£32,000 - £34,000 5% Bonus

Job Type:Permanent

Hours:40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, 12:30pm finish on Friday)

This is a great opportunity for aSenior Stores Personto join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment on a permanent basis, supporting the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders worldwide.

The role ofSenior Stores Person will include:

• Coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure products are shipped accurately, safely, and on time.
• Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate shipping information within the ERP system.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for post-order customer communications, providing delivery updates and shipment tracking information.
• Preparing and verifying dispatch documentation including dispatch notes, commercial invoices, waybills, Certificates of Conformity (CoC), Certificates of Origin (CoO), ATR certificates, and customer-specific documentation.
• Liaising with Trade Compliance, freight providers, and couriers to ensure successful domestic and international shipments.
• Managing customer-specific packaging, labelling, and shipping requirements.
• Maintaining accurate dispatch records and supporting document traceability requirements.
• Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with workload planning and prioritisation activities.

TheSenior Stores Person should have the following experience:

• Previous experience within a dispatch, logistics, customer service, administration, or manufacturing support role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of production processes, operational metrics, and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience within aerospace, defence, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance.
