Job summary

STI Limited is seeking a Stores Person for a late shift to support a busy Stores & Despatch department. You will handle material movement, maintain stock accuracy, and liaise with other departments to resolve stock queries.

The role requires previous warehouse experience, familiarity with MRP systems and MS Office, and a keen eye for detail. It is onsite in Hook, Hampshire with a permanent contract and a generous benefits package.

Job description

Be the backbone of our stock flow - Organised, accurate, essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual to join a busy and fast-paced team within our Stores & Despatch department on our late shift.

In our Stores and Despatch department, they are responsible for all material handling activities, maintaining stock activity, and ensuring all materials are stored correctly.

As a Stores Person, you will provide material handling activities as deemed necessary by the company to support production throughput.

Late shift working pattern includes:

• Monday - Wednesday 3:45pm - 2:00am
• Thursday 3:45pm - 12:00am

What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring materials are stored as per Company processes and procedures
• Maintaining stock accuracy and traceability
• Liaising across departments addressing any relative stock queries or issues
• Ensuring job handling as per Company processes and procedures
• Stock counting
• Manual lifting and handling when required

You will need previous experience of a warehouse environment, along with MRP systems and Microsoft Office packages experience.

You will also need a high attention to detail and accuracy, high concentration levels and excellent level of dexterity, especially for stock counting and keeping records accurate.

This role is a full time, permanent contract onsite in Hook, Hampshire.
