Job summary

East West Railway Company in Milton Keynes is seeking a proactive stakeholder engagement lead to drive engagement and communications across the Eastern, Western and Central route sections. You will build trusted relationships with residents, businesses and elected representatives, and shape engagement around construction phases to support the DCO process and delivery milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of stakeholder engagement and communications strategies across the route.
• Build trusting relationships with the public, local communities, businesses and stakeholders.
• Oversee external engagement across the business, including design and delivery focus areas.
• Plan engagement to match construction phases and route impact stages.
• Hold face-to-face community meetings and maintain accessible contact points for local communities.
• Monitor stakeholder concerns and respond promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate and attend stakeholder meetings, briefings and events.
• Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials.
