Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking an experienced leader to shape and grow our Stakeholder Engagement offer, working with high-profile clients in utilities and infrastructure. You will partner with the Stakeholder Engagement Director to deliver strategic communications, engagement and public affairs programmes, building strong relationships across client organisations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within stakeholder engagement, communications, consultation or PR consultancy.
• Experience with clients across infrastructure, utilities, energy, planning or environmental sectors.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure projects with complex consultation programmes.
• Proven leadership of teams within a consultancy or professional services setting.
• Strong operational leadership including resource planning and budgeting.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and engagement skills.
• Experience supporting business growth through bids and proposals.
• Desirable experience scaling a consultancy team or service line.
• Experience of organisational change, service development or business planning.
• Existing network of contacts in infrastructure/utilities/planning sectors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the trusted deputy to the SE Director, helping shape and grow our Stakeholder Engagement offer.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ organisations to provide strategic insight and solutions.
• Support business development, tenders, pitches and proposals.
• Lead delivery teams and ensure programmes meet objectives and budgets.
• Build trusted client relationships and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Ensure programmes are delivered to high standards with measurable outcomes.
