An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Staff Nurse/Midwife at NHS Scotland’s University Hospital Crosshouse. The successful candidate will deliver high quality neonatal care, guide colleagues, and continuously develop their professional skills. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Staff Nurse/Midwife based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced, resilient and dynamic registered children’s nurse/midwife/ registered general nurse who has successfully undertaken a recognised qualified in neonatal speciality course, to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering intensive, high dependency and special care and assist with the smooth running of the unit during your shifts, whilst guiding colleagues with your clinical skills and expertise.
The successful candidates will be able to evidence continuing professional development, commitment to advancing and enhancing neonatal care.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and multi-disciplinary working.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
First level registered nurse RSCN/RN Child Branch or first level registered nurse child branch.
Clinical knowledge through state registration and practical experience 2 + years in a neonatal unit.
Active in seeking out new learning experiences in relation to neonatal knowledge, skills and competencies.
