The role emphasizes hands-on instrumentation, dashboards, automation and best practices in SRE. Experience with Grafana and Geneos is highly valued, and financial services knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior SRE or Observability Engineer.
• Strong expertise in OpenTelemetry instrumentation and pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of OpenSearch for analytics and indexing.
• Experience building dashboards and alerts with Grafana.
• Familiarity with Geneos and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Background in high-availability environments; financial services desirable.
• Automation and incident-response experience.

Responsabilités

• Gather requirements and analyze existing monitoring platforms.
• Define observability standards, telemetry strategies and alerting frameworks.
• Implement OpenTelemetry instrumentation and OpenSearch solutions across apps and infra.
• Design dashboards, analytics and reporting for transparency and efficiency.
• Develop automation to reduce manual overhead in observability.
• Integrate observability frameworks with Geneos and other monitoring tools.
• Provide documentation and handover for long-term sustainability.
