Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen reliability across Risk Intelligence. You will work with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to embed reliability from day one, and may be called for major incidents.

This role demands proactive leadership, hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure, Linux, observability, and cost optimization, with a focus on scalable, secure platforms and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SRE/Platform Engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS or Azure incl EKS, ECS, EC2, IAM.
• Strong Linux system administration background.
• Proven ability to design/operate observability with monitoring/logging.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE foundations for new projects, monitoring, and readiness.
• Define observability standards across metrics/logs/traces/SLIs/SLOs.
• Design monitoring/alerting to improve visibility and reliability.
• Drive reliability improvements via incident reduction and tuning.
• Partner with Security for compliance and risk management.
• Influence architecture with cloud cost optimization.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards.
