Job summary

VodafoneThree seeks a Senior SRE to build and operate reliable, cloud-native platforms across Azure, AWS and Kubernetes. You will own SLI/SLO definitions, drive automation, and lead incident response with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

You will work hybrid from Newbury/London, 37.5 hours, with flexible office attendance 2-3 days a week; competitive salary with bonus and Vodafone benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and cloud infra background.
• Experience operating large-scale production environments.
• Multi-cloud and Kubernetes expertise.
• IaC with Terraform and deployment automation.
• Monitoring and observability with SLOs/SLIs.

Responsibilities

• Own service reliability outcomes through SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Drive improvements in platform availability, resilience and performance.
• Eliminate operational toil through automation and self-service.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
• Improve operational readiness with runbooks, playbooks and standards.
• Design and maintain cloud-native infra across Azure, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Design and implement logging, metrics, tracing, alerts and dashboards.
