Job summary

VodafoneThree Newbury or London hybrid role focuses on reliable cloud services and platform engineering. You’ll own service reliability, implement SLOs, and drive automation across Azure, AWS and Kubernetes.

The team collaborates to deliver scalable, resilient infrastructure and you’ll contribute to production readiness and incident response. The role requires a strong cloud engineering background, IaC with Terraform, and experience monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering and cloud infra.
• Experience in large-scale production environments.
• Kubernetes and multi-cloud platforms.
• Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring and SRE practices incl SLOs/SLIs.

Responsibilities

• Own service reliability outcomes, define SLI/SLOs and error budgets.
• Improve platform availability and performance across production systems.
• Automate toil reduction and self-service capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Lead root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Design and maintain cloud-native infra across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes.
