Job summary

Candour is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to own a critical SQL Server environment, design, develop and optimise database solutions across the business. Qualifications

5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server development experience.
Strong T-SQL skills and SQL Server 2019+ experience.
Experience designing relational databases and data models.
Background with high-volume transactional databases.
ETL process experience (SSIS or similar).
Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning and execution plans.
Experience with SQL Server Agent, backups, disaster recovery & security.
Exposure to Azure SQL Database/MI is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and optimisation of SQL Server database solutions.
Develop and optimise complex T-SQL including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
Troubleshoot database performance issues, including query optimisation, blocking, and deadlocks.
Support database security, backups, recovery, and high availability solutions.
Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers.
