The Bridge Care Centre Middlesbrough is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to manage a complex caseload and deliver person-centred assessments and interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

In this part-time role (22.5 hours/week) you will take professional responsibility for your own caseload, conduct advanced dysphagia assessments, lead swallowing programmes, train therapy assistants, and contribute to care planning and decision-making.

Formación

• HCPC registration is required for practice.
• Experience assessing and treating dysphagia is essential.
• Ability to work with families and carers.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a complex SLT caseload with assessment and intervention.
• Conduct detailed communication and swallowing assessments.
• Lead swallowing programmes collaborating with nursing and dietitians.
• Provide staff training and supervision of therapy assistants.
• Participate in MDT meetings and care planning.
• Support colleagues with capacity and clinical decision making.
