Job summary

The Bridge Care Centre Middlesbrough, in Tees Valley, is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to manage a complex caseload and deliver high‑quality, person‑centred assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will take full responsibility for your own specialist caseload, performing detailed evaluations of communication and swallowing to support clinical decisions and care planning.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment.
• Experience working with families and carers.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex specialist caseload and provide independent clinical input.
• Conduct detailed communication and swallowing assessments using formal and informal tools.
• Contribute to differential diagnosis and prognosis with MDT colleagues.
• Lead communication-focused therapeutic groups and supervise staff.
