Job summary

Active Care Group, through its Active Neuro division, seeks a Senior Speech and Language Therapist at The Laurels in Lincoln. You will lead the SLT service, delivering person-centred care to residents with complex communication and swallowing needs.

You will manage a specialist caseload, deliver evidence-based interventions and work within a multidisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes and service development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration with significant post-qualification experience in neurological rehabilitation.
• Experience managing complex communication and swallowing needs.
• Ability to work autonomously and develop SLT services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist caseload, conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for complex neurological conditions including aphasia and dysphagia.
• Collaborate with the MDT, provide specialist advice and contribute to service development and audits.
