NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Permanent Band 4 Senior Speech and Language Clinical Support Worker (CSW) in Glasgow City (South). The role works within a supportive SLT and CSW team under the Leadership Team, with potential cross-service collaboration across Glasgow.

Base location is Gorbals Health and Care Centre. The post is permanent, part-time (32 hours/week) with 9am-5pm shifts across 4 days and a focus on delivering delegated SLT support and promoting communication

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with children and families who have communication differences.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to safe practice through supervision and professional development.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with children and families to support communication needs.
• Collaborate across Specialist Children’s Services, Neurodevelopmental Team, Paediatrics, Health Visiting, Education and Social Work.
• Promote understanding of communication differences among children and families.
• Deliver delegated pieces of work under Speech and Language Therapists’ direction.
• Ensure safe practice through regular supervision.
• Contribute to compassionate, person-centred care in line with realistic medicine.
