Job summary

NHS Scotland invites applications for a Clinical Support Worker to join the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service at Ninewells Hospital. You will work with the SLT team across wards, supporting therapy programmes and completing related duties in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage workload and a relevant qualification or proven experience. In-service training is provided, with TURAS appraisal for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant qualification or proven relevant experience.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Take patient case histories and document details.
• Carry out therapy programmes as directed by SLT team.
• Assist with oral care, administration and cleaning duties.
• Support the SLT team across wards at Ninewells Hospital.
