Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Specification Sales Manager for Roofing & Waterproofing Systems. You will drive field sales, secure specifications with surveyors and specifiers, and manage projects from initial approach to completion.

Role targets include £300k+ in Year 1 and about £1m overall, with a hybrid car and comprehensive benefits. You will cover North East, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire from a British-owned operation.

Competenze

• Must have specification field sales experience with building surveyors.
• Ability to write specifications and conduct CPD seminars.
• Open to various product backgrounds such as concrete repairs, flooring, waterproofing and roofing.
• Knowledge of liquid applied/flat roofing is not essential.
• Ideally able to utilise existing customer contacts with building surveyors and potentially architects.
• Must have some technical capability.
• Intelligent, empathetic and driven.
• No job hoppers, no more than 3 jobs in the last 6 years (unless very good reasons for moving).
• Ability to hunt for new projects whilst also building and retaining relationships.
• Energy and enthusiasm with confidence to sell a solution rather than on price (not purely price-focused).
• Not afraid of heights.

Mansioni

• Field sales position selling a range of liquid roofing systems for waterproofing or fully built up roofing systems.
• Majority of time gaining specifications with predominantly building surveyors, but also some architects, health authorities, education and other major specifiers.
• Some time spent with specialist waterproofing & roofing sub contractors to win projects effectively.
• Year one target threshold circa £300,000+, target circa £1m.
• Maximise profit through proper management of price and discounts.
• Refurbishment focussed.
• Project sizes vary from 200m2 to 4,000m2; typical rates £30-£40/m2 waterproofing and £70-£80/m2 for built up roofing.
• Clients include local authorities, retailers, manufacturers and large residential projects.
