Job summary

Ganton School within Humber Education Trust is seeking a Senior Specialist Teaching and Learning Support Assistant. The role involves 26.5 hours weekly, term-time plus five days, with a fixed-term contract to December 2027.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent).
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience with or caring for children of a relevant age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured learning activities and 1:1 or small group support.
• Prepare, maintain, and use equipment and resources for lessons.
• Support emotional, behavioural and pastoral needs of pupils.
• Assist with Individual Education / Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes.
• Help plan learning activities and, when needed, supervise classes.
