Job summary

Imagine Independence in Padiham, Lancashire, is expanding and seeks Specialist Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and more. You will help with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement.

You’ll join a values-driven team: compassionate, energetic, reliable, and professional, with shift patterns including alternate weekends and sleep-in duties. Salary £24,849.24 pro rata; benefits include 25 days leave and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work or similar role.
• Ability to assist with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Respect for boundaries, privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Person-centered support: help individuals feel connected to their community and safe at home.
• Daily Living Support: assist with cooking, budgeting, personal care, education and healthcare.
• Engaging activities: participate in drives, seaside visits, walks, arts and crafts and more.
