Job summary

MDA Space seeks a Senior Product Assurance Engineer to join our UK team. You'll work across Harwell and Stevenage on ESA/NASA and commercial programs, delivering assurance for electronic, electromechanical and optical systems.

You’ll lead PA activities, develop project PA plans, and manage design reviews, QC documentation, and supplier interactions. You will mentor junior engineers and help prepare proposals as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
• 5+ years delivering Product Assurance work packages on ESA/NASA and commercial programs.
• Experience in electronic, electromechanical and optical systems design, manufacture, assembly and test.
• Experience with ECSS standards and quality management systems such as ISO 9001/AS 9100.

Responsibilities

• Manage PA work packages across projects and lifecycle.
• Prepare project PA Plans and verify supply chain compliance.
• Lead EEE parts, materials and processes assurance activities.
• Lead design reviews and customer/supplier reviews (EQSR, PDR, SRR, CDR, MRR, TRB).
• Prepare End Item Data Pack (EIDP) and PA documentation (QSL, CIL, CIDL).
• Mentor junior QA and PA Engineers.
• Assist Business Development with proposals.
