Mission Mars is seeking a Sous Pizzaiolo in Wilmslow. You will work closely with the Head Pizzaiolo to run the kitchen, ensure quality across every service, and lead the team to perform at their best. This is both a craft and leadership role within a growing UK group.

The ideal candidate has senior pizza expertise, strong organizational skills, and a track record of coaching teams while maintaining rigorous food safety standards. A clear path for progression is offered with ongoing training.

• Proven kitchen leadership in a high-volume environment.
• Expert-level Neapolitan pizza knowledge and technique.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a full service under pressure.
• Natural coach and communicator who brings out the best in a team.
• Meticulous standards around food safety and hygiene.
• Ambition and drive to progress to Head Pizzaiolo level.

Responsabilités

• Supporting the Head Pizzaiolo in running kitchen
• Managing station prep, workflow, and service execution across every shift
• Leading and motivating the kitchen team
• Maintaining Rudy's quality standards and recipe adherence consistently
• Overseeing food hygiene, allergen compliance, and health & safety
• Contributing to training, coaching, and the ongoing development of the team
• Taking full ownership of the kitchen in the Head Pizzaiolo's absence
• Supporting stock management, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives
