Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our busy wedding-venue kitchen at Bassmead Manor Barns, Staploe, St Neots. You will be self-motivated, calm under pressure and passionate about cooking with fresh ingredients.

In this role you’ll deputise for the Head Chef, work a 5-of-7 rota, and contribute to training and development across our estate. The position offers competitive hourly/annual pay and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Senior Sous Chef position, preferably in a busy venue serving 100+ covers.
• A passion for cooking and high standards of food quality.
• Good references to support your CV and strong teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team to maintain high standards of food preparation and service.
• Follow allergens policy and kitchen management package; full training provided.
• Day-to-day reporting to Head Chef / Sous Chef; respond to emails.
• Utilise Checkit system; full training provided.
