Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef for Bassmead Manor Barns, Staploe, St Neots. The role is full-time at a busy wedding venue, with duties including highly skilled food preparation and maintaining kitchen standards.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of Senior Sous Chef experience, a passion for cooking, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Own transport is essential due to rural location; live-in not offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Senior Sous Chef position.
• A passion for cooking with a track record to support your CV.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Own transport is essential due to countryside location.
• Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK (no live-in).
• HACCP understanding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team to maintain high standards of food preparation and service.
• Follow allergens policy and kitchen management procedures (full training provided).
• Report day-to-day to Head Chef/Sous Chef and respond to emails.
• Utilise Checkit in daily kitchen operations (training provided).
