Job summary

Marston's PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sous Chef to be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up and covering when they're not on shift. You'll bring branded experience and help run the kitchen during service.

You'll oversee, organise and develop the kitchen team, maintain high standards of food and service, and have opportunities through our apprenticeship programmes and career pathway to progress.

Qualifications

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - developing their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be second in command to Head Chef and cover for them when not on shift.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth kitchen operation.
• Assist Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management.
• Develop and support the kitchen team to improve skills and performance.
