Job summary

The Mallard in Tidbury Green, the newest pub to join the Brunning and Price family, opens Autumn 2026. We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef who will act as the Head Chef of the future, helping shape a fresh kitchen from day one and grow your career with us.

Benefits include a basic salary up to £37,000 per year, plus tronc, a bonus up to £2,000, paid overtime, free meals on shift, a 30% staff discount, a Nest pension, life assurance and other perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality at senior sous/sous or kitchen manager level is essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen alongside the Head Chef and drive the food culture.
• Lead and motivate a team, ensure quality and consistency.
