Job summary

The Barbary Notting Hill, part of Studio Paskin group, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join as the Head Chef’s number two, driving standards and leadership in a high-energy open kitchen.

With Michelin-level kitchen background, you will lead a brigade across service, contribute to menu development and fire-led cooking, mentoring the team to deliver exceptional, consistent plates in a vibrant, award‑winning restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Sous Chef in quality-led kitchens.
• Strong leadership and brigade management abilities.
• Experience in high-energy open kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the brigade and run the service in the Head Chef's absence.
• Drive standards, organisation and performance across the kitchen.
• Contribute to menu development and dish refinement.
• Maintain high levels of seasoning, temperature, presentation and cleanliness.
• Control food GP, stock, wastage, and kitchen systems.
