Job summary

Exact Sourcing Limited is hiring an experienced Sous Chef for a busy, professional kitchen on a full-time basis. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and service, while guiding and developing the kitchen team.

The role focuses on day-to-day running, leadership, and consistent, high-quality food delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior chef position.
• Is confident working in a busy kitchen environment
• Has strong leadership and organisational skills
• Is reliable, professional and motivated

• Has a strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading, motivating and supporting the wider kitchen team
• Maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation and quality
• Ensuring excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained
• Helping to organise kitchen operations and manage service effectively
• Supporting the team during busy periods and ensuring a consistent standard of service
