Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to reach their potential while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

Responsibilities |

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and valued, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team training.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef to recruit and develop your team, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

What We Look For |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations with your team.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards in food safety, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labour costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
