Senior Sous Chef | Full-time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance, and delivering exceptional results.

What you will do:

• Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
• Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, health, and safety, and understand financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
• Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
• Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What we look for:

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of food safety and health standards.
• Financial acumen in managing kitchen performance, GP, stock, and labor costs.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team, fostering inclusivity and respect.
• Ability to think on your feet and solve problems proactively.
