The role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance, and delivering excellent results.

Key responsibilities
  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial metrics such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a strong team through recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.
Candidate requirements
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with the team thoughtfully and supportively.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
