Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Need To Do:

  • Create a caring, supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
  • A proactive problem solver capable of quick decision-making.
